Professionals who wanted a strong national umbrella
for their efforts formed NOAPPP in 1979.
HTN is the only national membership organization that focuses solely on the issues of adolescent pregnancy, pregnancy prevention, and adolescent parenting. Members include health educators, nurses, physicians, psychologists, social workers, teachers, school and program administrators and policy-makers as well as state and local health departments, school districts,
community programs and educational agencies and libraries.
HTN’s Membership
HTN’s membership now includes over 600 organizations and individuals working as researchers, teachers, social workers, program and school administrators, health clinicians, nurses, doctors, faith leaders, community organizers, professors, media professionals, community health workers, case managers, and policy-makers. HTN’s database includes nearly 25,000 people in the field.
Membership Categories:

Individual - Provides membership benefits for one individual; |

Organizational - Provides membership benefits for up to three individuals from the same organization, administered through a contact person for that organization; and |

Student - Provides membership benefits to one student that is currently enrolled full-time. (Documentation of full-time registration is required).
